Amigas Anti-Leads Group

A space to talk — not pitch.

After many walks, voice notes, private chats, and honest conversations as solopreneurs, we realized something: women don’t always need another networking event. Sometimes we just need space to say the things we’ve been carrying. That’s why we teamed up with Jessica Monroe, founder of Viva in Color Creative Studio, to create the Amigas Anti-Leads Group — a monthly online gathering for women entrepreneurs, creatives, founders, freelancers, and dreamers from Denver, NYC, and beyond. This is not a place to “sell yourself.”

It’s not a membership. There’s no long-term commitment. And nobody is here to impress anyone.

Instead, this is a room where 10 women gather once a month to be heard. Each Amiga receives 5 uninterrupted minutes to share: Your highs — so we can celebrate your wins with you. Your lows — because we all have them. What you need support with — because asking for help is powerful.

No interruptions.
No advice unless invited.
No fixing.

While each woman speaks, we’ll use the chat to cheer you on, reflect back what we hear, and hold space for your thoughts in real time. At the end, we’ll leave 10 minutes for connection, follow-up conversations, and community support.

Because sometimes the thoughts spinning in your head just need somewhere to land.
Sometimes speaking things out loud unlocks clarity, new thought patterns, fresh ideas, or the courage to make a change. And sometimes you simply want someone to listen with patience and presence. There is space for your thoughts here.

We’ve made room for them.

Meet our co-host Jessica Monroe

Jessica Romero Monroe is the founder of Viva in Color Creative Studio, a Latina-owned, mission-driven creative studio rooted in humanity, storytelling, and social impact.

After spending over a decade in the nonprofit sector managing marketing and fundraising initiatives across Denver, Jess founded Viva in Color as a way to help small businesses build intentional brands and websites while continuing to support community organizations through pro-bono partnerships and purpose-driven work.

Her approach centers people first — believing that meaningful relationships, honest storytelling, and creativity can become mechanisms for positive social change.

Together, we’re building a space that values connection over performance, honesty over perfection, and community over competition.
