Amigas Coffee Talk with Kelsey George, PhD, LPC

Who We Are, Who We're Becoming & the Space In Between

Wednesday, August 19, 2026
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Side Pony Coffee | Denver, Colorado

We spend so much of our lives answering the question, "Who are you?"

We answer with our names, our careers, our relationships, our roles, and the things we've built.

But what happens when we change?

What happens when the person we are becoming no longer fits neatly into the life we've built?

Join Amigas for a morning conversation with Kelsey George, PhD, LPC, exploring the evolving nature of identity—both personal and professional—and what it means to navigate the space between who we've been, who we are now, and who we're becoming.

Kelsey was one of our very first Denver Amigas speakers, and we're thrilled to welcome her back for a conversation rooted in the many ways our identities evolve throughout our lives.

As a licensed professional counselor, educator, business owner, yoga teacher, and new mother, Kelsey brings a unique perspective to the ways personal growth and life transitions can shape how we see ourselves—and how we show up in our work, relationships, and communities.

Together, we'll explore:

The Self We Know

How do we define who we are? How much of our identity is shaped by our work, our relationships, and the roles we play?

The Self We're Becoming

What happens when we outgrow an old version of ourselves? How do we navigate the uncertainty that comes with change and transition?

The Self We Bring to Work

How does personal growth influence our professional lives? Can we—and should we—separate who we are personally from who we are professionally?

The Self We're Expected to Be

How do we distinguish between who we truly are and who we feel we're supposed to be? What happens when the version of us that makes others comfortable isn't the version that feels authentic?

And ultimately:

The Space In Between

How do we learn to trust ourselves while we're still becoming?

This is a conversation for anyone who has ever felt like they're in transition, outgrowing something, starting over, questioning what's next, or simply realizing that the person they are today isn't the person they were a few years ago.

Because becoming isn't something we finish.

It's something we do, again and again, throughout our lives.

Come as you are. Leave with a little more clarity about who you're becoming.
