Amigas Mindful Morning - January
Amigas Mindful Mornings
Move. Breathe. Connect.
Create time each month for intention, community, and a pause from the pace of everyday life. Amigas Mindful Mornings is a new monthly series designed to bring women together for movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection, without technology, without pressure, and without expectation.
This is not a traditional yoga event. Even if yoga isn’t your usual practice, we invite you to join and experience the benefits of reconnecting with your body, quieting your mind, and grounding yourself in community.
Each hour-long session includes:
40 minutes of guided movement: Gentle stretches, deep breathing, and meditation to reconnect with your physical self and center your mind. No need to worry about deep lunges or long planks, this practice is accessible to all levels and focused on presence rather than performance.
20 minutes of connection and community: Share conversation with fellow Amigas over freshly brewed coffee from Cafecito Denver, brought to you by Amigas member Vanessa Ortiz. Enjoy heartwarming coffee recipes inspired by Mexican traditions and linger in the studio if you’d like to continue connecting after the session.

Time: 7:30–8:30 AM
Location: The River Yoga, Sunnyside
What to wear: Loose, comfortable clothing, no special yoga gear required
Mats: Provided at the studio, no need to bring your own
